Facts on global warming The national geographic society has some interesting facts on global warming. IMHO, they shouldn't mix forecasts in with facts, though. A forecast isn't a fact (although I suppose that there is such a forecast is a fact). I haven't come across a 'facts of climate forecasting' FAQ, yet. My own sense is that if the complexity of the global climate is anything like the complexity of the economy (and I suspect its orders of magnitudes more complex than the economy), forecasting far into the future is very, very hard.  ¶ 2:27 PM
