We're not going to elect a Senator as President, though.

Before 1960, it was impossible for Americans to elect a Catholic. Before 2008, it was impossible for us to elect a Mormon.

Or maybe we should be practicing our New York accents?

An Obama vs Giuliani race would be very, very interesting. I can imagine the Fox News coverage boiling down to:

"Giuliani saved New York on 9/11. The other guy is named Hussein Osama. Obama. Whatever. We're not against black people or Muslims but he is BLACK WITH A MUSLIM NAME OMG!!"

As far as Presidential names go, Giuliani is weird too.

A friend reminded me the other day, that in parts of the south, my last name would tag me as ethnic.
